MABUHAY Philippines!

We took our first family trip to the Philippines. Vic and I haven't been to the Philippines since the 80s and I haven't seen my Norwegian family since our wedding. We were only in the homeland for 2 weeks, but we got to see a lot of family, eat good food, shop (a lot) and relax by the pool. Enjoy the photos!

january has been hectic... we are going up to the snow this weekend and at the same time: trying to schedule weekly play dates, learn our ABCs and not our ACBs, color and of course go to school... oh the joys of learning and growing up..

auntie sarah is visiting us from chi town... during her southeast asia trip she picked up some cool stuff for m to wear... check out her comfy pants!

happy 2011

wow! i can't believe it is already 2011, time sure does fly... as i reflect on 2010, it has been filled with tears, struggles and joys. as a family we look forward to growing together and becoming a strong unit. believe it or not, we have plans to visit my lola and lolo in the philippines in march. keep your fingers crossed as we are in the process of applying for our passport and looking for affordable flights. aside from our travels, we are happy to announce that one of our awesome friends (denise villegas) is getting married this year! we are so excited as wedding planning is supper fun AND marley will be making her first debut as one of denise's flower girls... how cute is that going to be???? we are also excited for the birth of jaylyn and mark's first child. send warm thoughts to the new parents as we will be celebrating their rights of passage (co-ed baby shower) as new parents next week... lastly, my mom is going to school and will be studying at CCSF this semester! let's hope she can pass all of her classes =)
